The main research areas are:

a) Raman, SERS and CARS spectroscopy and microscopy of various biological objects: sensitive probes of lipids, lipids bilayers, proteins, thin and small objects; fast dynamic scanning and contrast chemical imaging.

b)  Exploration of structural and spectral characteristics of phosphors activated with various rare-earth elements (REE).

c)  Plasmon enhanced photo- and upconversion luminescence studies.
