Greetings from IBWAP 2020 Jubilee Edition!
International Balkan Workshop on Applied Physics and Materials Science (IBWAP 2020) is inviting researchers, scholars, experts, graduate students, engineers and industry professionals to register at the 20th Jubilee Edition, scheduled for 14-17 July 2020 at Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania.
The purpose of IBWAP 2020 is to provide an opportunity to present and discuss the best research, developments, applications and results.
The registration (http://ibwap.ro/#abstracts) is now opened and the main scientific program includes the following sessions:
1. Materials Physics.
2. Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics and Applications.
3. Nuclear and sub-Nuclear Physics and Applications.
4. Cross-disciplinary Applications of Physics.
5. Engineering and Industrial Physics.
6. Topics in Physics Education Research.
The 20th International Balkan Workshop on Applied Physics and Materials Science aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Applied Physics and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.
The workshop continues a tradition started by BPU in 1999, in Tsigov-Chark, Bulgaria, and continued in 2001 in Edirne, Turkey, and 2002 in Targoviste, Romania. Starting with 2003 the workshop has been held annually in Constanta, Romania with one exception, 2012, when Ovidius University of Constanta hosted the 8th General conference of the Balkan Physical Union.
The workshop is organized by Ovidius University of Constanta, the Balkan Physical Union, the Romanian Physical Society, Romanian Academy and Academy of Romanian Scientists and is addressed to all scholars interested in applied physics from the Balkan countries and from all over the world. The participation of young scientists and students is greatly encouraged, one of the goals of the workshop being to offer the new generation an opportunity to present original new results and a chance to learn from the experience of distinguished researchers.
The organizers acknowledge the importance of proper dissemination of scientific knowledge and offer the attendants the possibility to publish their full papers in journals that are indexed in the ThomsonReuters Web-of-Science database.
