The Russian Science Foundation announces the start of accepting applications for the President's program infrastructure competition of research projects

Grants are awarded for the implementation of scientific, scientific and technical projects on the basis of the existing world-class scientific infrastructure in 2021-2024 with the subsequent possible extension of the project for up to 3 years.

Projects should be aimed at solving specific problems within the framework of one of the priorities defined in the Strategy for the Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation.

When implementing projects submitted to the competition, large scientific infrastructure facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation must be used.

The number of applications admitted to the competition, involving the implementation of projects with the use of one infrastructure facility, must be at least 5, while one legal entity, whose projects will win the competition, cannot account for more than a third of the Fund's financial support for all projects carried out using the infrastructure facility projects that have won the competition.

A grant will amount from 4 to 6 million rubles annually.

Registration of infrastructure facilities in the IAS RSF is carried out until September 15, 2020.  Applications for the competition are accepted until October 15, 2020.  The results of the competition will be announced in March 2021.

Detailed information about the competition is presented in the "Competitions" section of the official website of the Russian Science Foundation.
