"On verification of the principle of relativity in the β-decay of the neutron"

A hypothesis of the dependence of the free neutron lifetime on helicity is proposed. It is shown that this contradicts the principle of relativity, and therefore the supposed effect can be a test of the principle of relativity in the weak interaction. A quantitative model of the effect was developed and experiments in which it can be measured were considered. The discussion and consequences of the effect are presented.
