2. Topic: Development of algorithms and software for determination of a cluster centre of gravity in multiwire position-sensitive detectors with individual data readout from each wire.

3. Work objective: To suggest high-speed algorithms of determination of a cluster centre of gravity for binary and halftone images of events in the detector and to develop corresponding programs that will be executed in a field programmable gate array (FPGA). To perform logic and time simulation of operation of the block using Quartus II package by ALTERA.
